Why is creating learning content so expensive?
Is it because we almost always start from scratch?

Interestingly, there is almost always some content that already exists.
So why don’t we recycle what’s already out there?

Here’s why it’s not so straightforward:

1. Content that wasn’t created for e-learning purposes. Think PDFs, PowerPoint slides, video files… You can’t simply dump those into an LMS, right? RIGHT? 😱

2. Existing e-learning content: Ever attempted to repurpose a course created by someone else? Even with access to the source files, you might find yourself testing the limits of your vocabulary – and not in a good way 🤬
