A question bank is a collection of questions that can be published/exported as a test.
To build a question bank, go to:
Go to Content Editor
Click + New content
Go to the Build a test tab
Then, choose how you want to create questions – manually or with the AI Copilot:
Option A:Write questions manually
Click Write questions manuallyto enter the Editor.
Simply Start adding questions in the left panel.
A collection of 13 types of assessment questions will open – select the question type you’d like to add.
Once you select the question type, a sample question will be added to your bank. Use the editing tools on the right hand side panel to update the question.
Option B:Generate questions with AI Copilot
Click Generate questions with AI Copilot.
A pop-up window of all your content will appear. Select the content you want as a source of information for your question bank.
Select how many questions you want to include in your question bank.
Select the types of questions you want the Copilot to generate.
Give it a minute and your question bank is ready. Feel free to fine-tune the questions, remove unnecessary ones or add more.
Alternatively, you can generate a question bank directly from a course by clicking on the AI Copilot button and selecting Generate question bank.
Rearranging the order of your questions
To rearrange the order, drag and drop a question to a wanted position on the list of questions in the left hand side panel:
Important questions
Note, that once you’ll be exporting/publishing your question bank as a test, you can choose whether the test will include:
All questions from your question bank; or
Only a limited number ofrandomly selected questions from the entire bank.
To make sure a particular question is always included in a test, mark it as an important question in your question bank:
