AI is for enhancing, not replacing

I recently met a manager who is convinced he will soon be able to replace many of his employees with AI.

I’m not sure whether he was only seeking attention or trying to make his employees feel uncomfortable, but how can anyone take a guy like this seriously?

The main role of every manager is to enable their employees to work the best they can: to provide the best working conditions, the best training, the best equipment, and to remove any obstacles that could affect their performance and productivity.

The number one concern for every manager at the moment should be how to enable their employees to become more productive with the use of AI, rather than to replace them with AI.

Not just because it’s in their job description, but also because it’s the right thing to do.
