This is the sixth post from the checklist series ‘Launching Compliance Training’. Make sure that you have finished the previous list on Managing users in compliance training before you continue with this one.
In order to properly understand how successful your compliance training has been, you need to be able to properly track and report on how well your learners have performed.
This blog will show you what final checks you need to make in order to ensure that your available learning data and analytics will satisfy your reporting needs.
Commonly, the way the data is presented and analysed in your LMS will be different to how it is shown in an exported spreadsheet. Before you launch your training, you should export a set of pilot or demo data and consider how convenient exporting that data is:
Think about how hard it will be to compile compliance audit reports from the data exports. You also need to think about the must have analytics, such as completion rates across different job roles, locations and other segments and unified stats across markets. If these can be easily exported, this will not only save you plenty of time but also reduce the margin of error later on.
After hours of planning and preparation, your project is finally coming to life. It’s only natural to be excited and full of anticipation, but it is important to stay clear-headed in these last steps.
Remember – a lapse in focus before the project is completed can result in serious mistakes. These mistakes have the potential to undo all of the hard work you have put into your compliance training so far, so keeping your eyes on the prize is key.
